Three Fingers

Saturday, August 12, 2006
Sandy had been taking care of my dogs while I climbed Mount Baker. I wasn't getting them back until Sunday...so I decied to climb Three Fingers on Saturday. The top of three fingers requires climbing three steep, old, wooden ladders...my dogs are agile, but that would be pushing it.
It's a long rocky trail. I hiked it in one day, but it would be more comfortable to do it in two days, camping at Goat Flat. Near the top there is some steep glacier/snowfield climbing (an ice axe is useful) and then some scrambling.
