Frog Mountain

Sunday, May 13, 2003: I picked a random spot of the map: Frog Mountain, a 5200 FASL mountain north of Rainier Nat'l Park.  The dogs and I left home about 5:50 AM and arrived at the trailhead about 7:15 AM.  I had not been able to find any info on this hike on the WWW except for one very brief table that said hiking season for this hike was July 1 - Sept 1.  It looked promising.

Off of SR410, we took FR74 until the road was covered with deep snow (at about 3600 FASL), about 3 miles from the top.  I strapped on my snowshoes and we headed up.
