Paddy Go Easy Pass

Saturday, October 26, 2002: Sandy, Pretish, and I had been to Paddy-go-easy before -- back in the fall of 1999.  However, we turned around half-way up due to lack of daylight.  I decided I'd go back and see what's up at the pass.  I wasn't disappointed.

To get to the trailhead, you must drive north a long ways from Roslyn, WA.  The trailhead is actually much closer to Steven's Pass, but there are no roads from US2 that get close to Paddy-go-easy pass.

The trailhead starts at about 3300 FASL.

PICT0089: Woohoo!  We made it to the pass!  6100 FASL!  It was only 11:45 AM when we got to the pass, so we decided to explore some of the nearby peaks.  We bushwacked up a peak to the south for a nice 360 degree vista.

We relaxed at the lake for awhile.  This was a nice hike.  We didn't see any other hikers the entire day!  The lake would have been a very nice place to camp.
