Visitors from the flatland.

August 4, 2002:

Grandpa and Grandma arrived at the train station in downtown Seattle.  Grandma had broken 6 ribs the previous Friday -- she was in severe pain so I took her to the closest ER -- Sweedish Medical Hospital.  She had to stay there for 2.5 days.  I don't recommend Sweedish for general care -- they seem very disorganized.  In the future, I won't be taking my relatives from out of town to Sweedish.

The Maloneys (Kathy, Rebecca, and Colleen) also arrived on August 4.  However, they did not stay with me until Thursday, August 8.  Here is where the pictures begin:
